AS STATED IN NUP 64, NEW HIRES AND EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE TRANSFERRED INTO A POSTED POSITION ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN THEIR CURRENT POSITION FOR ONE YEAR BEFORE APPLYING FOR A SYSTEM JOB POSTING. IN ADDITION, EMPLOYEES NEED TO INFORM THEIR SUPERVISOR WHEN APPLYING FOR A POSTED JOB.

Band DE: $50,321 through $72,127

Band EE: $57,869 through $82,946

Band FE: $66,549 through $95,388

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required. Zero to two years of related experience is required for the Assistant level, two to five years of related experience is required for the Associate level; and a minimum of five years is required for the Engineer/Engineering Technologist level. Experience with PSSE Loadflow program is preferred. Good written and oral communication skills as well as being knowledgeable in the use of desktop PC applications is essential. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must hold a valid motor vehicle operator's license. Qualified candidates must submit a resume with their application.

Individual will work with assessing and promoting actions that ensure the adequacy and reliability of the PSNH 34.5kV, 12.47kV, and 4.16kV Distribution Systems based on established criteria, rules, and standards. Individual will identify, plan and prioritize system additions and reinforcements needed to meet reliability, power quality and system load growth needs. Specifically, this individual will perform power system loadflows needed to develop near and long term distribution system adequacy assessments and contingency response plans. Assignments may include reliability and regulatory reporting activities. Individual will also be expected to participate in committees and forums to enhance competencies in electric power engineering theory, practice and strategy. Individual will evaluate the long-term performance of material and construction design used for the delivery of electric power. Individual will assist in developing distribution construction standards associated with equipment design and specifications to meet applicable codes and regulations. Will have storm restoration and emergency assignments.
