Tasks:
- Inputs employee payroll change information and/or time and attendance
data.
- Works closely with all levels of employees to resolve payroll related
issues while maintaining a high level customer service approach.
- Identifies, researches, and corrects payroll discrepancies within
rigid time constraints through the development and use of audit reports
and reconciliations.
- Supports various areas of the organization by gathering and presenting
payroll information, while utilizing all available tools and resources.
- Assists in daily and biweekly payroll functions as assigned.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills
Requirements:
- High School or Equivalent

- Generally requires 0-2 years related experience
Responsible for a range of payroll functions, including but not limited to: Ensuring data integrity and accurate and timely payments to employees through the use of various audits, creating reports from time entry and payroll data, coordinating disability benefit payments, partnering with Finance and Accounting to reconcile payroll entries, understanding and educating stakeholders about the payroll impacts of business practices, and communicating payroll schedules and process changes. Works in a team environment, with a high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Core Responsibilities:
- Audits employee payroll change information and/or time and attendance data.
- Reconciles short term disability benefits from third party vendor and submits payment adjustments.
- Works closely with all levels of employees to resolve payroll related issues while maintaining a high level customer service approach.
- Identifies, researches, and communicates payroll discrepancies within rigid time constraints through the development and use of audit reports and reconciliations.
- Supports various areas of the organization by gathering and presenting payroll information, while utilizing all available tools and resources.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
Education Level: -High School or Equivalent
Certifications: FPC or CPP preferred
Years Experience: Minimum 2 years recent payroll experience with 10,000+ employee base
Other: SAP Payroll preferred, Intermediate level MS Access and/or Excel, Oracle (OBI), Solid organizational skills
