Jobing Description

* The Coding Advisor with direction of the Supervisor, assumes responsibility for coding education activities with provider and coder groups. Associates degree with a minimum of 3 years of coding experience or the equivalent required. A background in a multi-speciality academic coding setting preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) with all levels of staff. Attention to detail is essential. CPC or CCS-P certification required for professional applicants, CCS required for hospital applicants.
