Experience Required

? BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.

? Ten-plus years with a minimum of five years at a Director level in managing and directing quality assurance initiatives in a progressive complex organization.

? Demonstrated knowledge and application of current methodologies such as QFD (Voice of the Customer), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DOE (Design of Experiments).

? Lean Six Sigma experience, Six Sigma Black Belt certified with a proven track record of business performance improvement. 3P experience preferred.

? Professional certification in Quality Assurance (ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) with demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the Body of Knowledge (BOK) to improve performance.

? Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.

? Experience in designing and implementing quality systems.

? Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation.

? Strong computer skills including quality control applications, spreadsheets, and databases.

? Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and interface successfully with customers.

? Must have excellent project management skills.

Preferred:

? Master?s degree preferred.
