Jobing Description

The position of Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for maintaining the build cycle of Optical, Electrical, and Mechanical products. The build cycle responsibilities include, but are not limited to, inspection, kitting, assembly, test and all associated documentation.

MAJOR DUTIES
Operational
? Perform assembly of products consistent with state-of-the-art military and aerospace standards for electronic, optical and mechanical devices.
? Provide input for process, procedure and product improvements prior to and during the production build cycle.
? Ensure processes and procedures are consistent with Work Order and Travelers that are being used.
? Ensure Quality, (including ISO, SOP, and other processes), procedures and data bases are followed as well as provide suggestions for improvement.
? Navigate and execute efficiently in both MS Office and other similar products. Will be trained on Visual (MRP) system to manage parts/inventory/shipments.
? Provide input to existing and new assembly procedures, processes, and work flow travelers consistent with OASYS Technology ??s established guidelines.
? Maintain job inventory and inventory kits and control of kit distribution for assigned projects.
? Maintain test data, product reports, and returned merchandise documentation.
Incident Management
? Generate and/or utilize documents consistent with OASYS ISO procedures and policies.
? RMA ??s (Return Material Authorization) will consist of generating records and may include receiving returned items, documenting items, repairing and returning items to the customer in a manner consistent with established processes and procedures.
? NCMR ??s (Non Conforming Material Reports) will consist of generating records and working with Quality and Engineering to expedite the disposition process.
? Provide input to Preventative and Corrective Action reports.

Physical Demands
? Lifting objects on the order of 20 pounds will be required on a recurring basis.

Required Skills:
Mechanical Aptitude. Attention to detail. Familier with typical assembly hand tools. (screw driver, wrenches, etc) Desire to learn. Accepts challenges. Works well in a team environment. Has worked in a similar capacity.

Preferred Skills:
Has taken mechanical items apart and put them back together resulting in a working condition item.
