Job: Electrical Engineering Intern

L-3 Warrior Systems, Insight has a 3 month summer internship opportunity for a motivated Electrical Engineering student seeking a mentored experience working within a professional engineering environment. During their internship, the candidate will gain exposure to some or all of the following:

* Design process for electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems
* Engineering design cycle in a cooperative effort with Insight's mechanical, optical and manufacturing engineering staff.
* Hands on experience in the design, development and test of electro-mechanical and electro-optical system hardware and software.
* Data acquisition for system performance analysis and debug.
* Reinforcement of text book knowledge by application to "real world" engineering problems.
* CAD/CAE software used for system analysis and modeling, schematic capture, and printed wiring board design.

Qualifications

Eligible candidates must be actively enrolled in a BS Electrical Engineering program with completed course work through the curriculum's sophomore year.
