Job: Electrician / Electronics Technician

EMCOR ENERGY SERVICES, a division of EMCOR Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a journeyman electrician/electronics technician with a background in power plant electrical systems and electronics, to perform maintenance and repair work in their southern New Hampshire plant. The plant consists of gas turbines, boilers, motor control centers and high voltage distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The work will include maintenance and repair of an assortment of power plant equipment. A strong background in investigative troubleshooting is required. The position is full time, five days per week with periodic call back responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician License, ability to read and understand schematics and drawings, strong troubleshooting skills, understanding of NFPA 70E requirements, knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC s), ability to support power plant equipment from single phase to 34.5 kv, five years of similar experience, skilled with meters of different types, ability to work with others in a campus environment.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

BSEE degree, OSHA General Industry Safety and Health certification (10 hour), OSHA Confined Entry certification, and formal electronics training. Prior power plant experience considered a plus.
