We are seeking an off shift Fabrication Mechanic II in our Nuclear Components Manufacturing group within our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit. Based out of Newington, NH, the Nuclear Component Manufacturing plant manufactures specialty equipment for new nuclear power plants and major replacement projects.

In this position, a Fabrication Mechanic II can expect to perform the following duties:

- Fitting and layout of cylinders, cones, developed length, angular measurements, etc., without assistance.
- Read and understand work instructions (work orders) and drawings.
- Understand the workings of the technical and quality assurance manuals.
- Must obtain certifications in SMAW, GTAW, SAW and consumable inserts weld processes, in various weld processes.

Specific Desired Skills A successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:

- Must be proficient in SMAW, GTAW, SAW and plasma cutting, carbon arc, oxy-acteylene burning and cutting.
- Must have the following physical attributes: good balance, excellent vision, good depth perception.
- Must be able to perform the layout and fitting of cylinders, plate and cones to drawing and engineering specifications for lengths and angular measurements with some guidance from a fabrication mechanic I or supervisor.
- Must possess assembly and testing skills of precision components.
- Must be able to read and interpret welding specifications to obtain welding qualifications and product welding with some guidance.
- Must be able to understand and work to the requirements of ASME,the American Society of Manufacturing Engineering.
- High school diploma or GED.
