Field Service Engineer 2 (MRI)

Description

Philips Medical Systems is looking for an exceptional Field Service Engineer to provide world-class service at various hospitals and clinics. You will perform preventative maintenance, service, and repair on core Philips equipment.

Your responsibilities will also include:

- Maintaining excellent customer relationships through effective customer service

- Resolving networking problems

- Parts inventory management

- Providing appropriate documentation for customer maintenance and business records, i.e.: Field Change Orders (FCO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) documentation, etc.

- Supporting the Philips business through the promotion of Philips products and services.

Education:

Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering, equivalent military education, or BS preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years servicing MRI equipment. Nuclear and X-ray equipment experience are a plus.

Experience of telecommunication systems, as well as DICOM and networking are strongly preferred and any network certifications such as A+ or Net+ are highly desired.

Skills:

Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.

Other Requirements:

May be required to be available 24 x 7 via phone or pager and rotate on an on-call status.

Must hold a valid drivers license and have a driving record showing zero felony or DUI convictions and less than three moving violations in the previous three years.

Must be capable of carrying or pulling equipment up to 100 lbs (assistance available when lifting items over 50 lbs).

May require occasional overtime and overnight travel.

Average driving is 1 to 4 hours daily.

Carries or pulls up to 40 lbs. of test equipment.

Frequently bends, stoops, twists, turns, and works in unusual positions using full body mobility.

May work from ladders or scaffolding, on occasion.

Potential exposure to hazardous physical, chemical, and biological agents.
