The Global Trade Compliance Manager supports
Legal, and Global Supply Chain Group practices and objectives that drive a high
performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity and
standards, goal attainment, ethics and the recruitment and ongoing development
of a superior workforce.

The Global Trade Compliance Manager supports
Legal, and Global Supply Chain Group policies, procedures and programs, reports
to the Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel and has responsibilities
in these areas:

* Corporation Wide Global Trade Compliance Programs
* International Trade Programs, and Regulations
* Import/Export Governance
* International Product Classification

Primary Objectives:

* Development of compliance programs to include, import/export procedures, policies and
drive compliance.
* Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality,
continuous improvement, and high performance.
* Identify compliance areas of risks, and implement programs to minimize corporate exposure to
include procedures and policies.
* Establish metrics to monitor trade behavior and implement corrective action programs
as required
* Safety of the workforce.

Responsibilities:

* Managing and directing the international trade function as it relates to import/ export regulations and licensing within
the AI Business Unit in such a manner as to support and enable the BU to realize its goals and targets in the international market, while fully
complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Provide leadership in interpreting,establishing and executing BU-wide international trade policies/procedures and
processes to support the company goals and objectives.
* Participate in establishing and administering BU-wide initiatives including relevant policy objectives.
* Interface with BU Leaders, import/exportcompliance personnel value streams, to:
* understand the import/export needs,
* facilitate the development and timely processing of license agreements,
* track the approval status of export licenses,
* provide a BU-wide focus to ensure timely support to our international business needs.
* Provides technical guidance and leadership to organization with respect to international trade activities at the BU level to
ensure coherence with Albany International Corp. import/ export policies and procedures.
* Provide BU leadership and the business with regulatory interpretation and guidance in the following areas:
* Trade Practices, Anti-Corruption practices, Product Classification, Export Licensing,
Re-export Authority, Technical Data, Compliance Training, Export Documentation,
Letters of Credit, Import Assists, Import Licensing, Import Customs Clearance,
Import Tariff Classification, Foreign Sourcing, Deemed Exports, Terms and
Conditions, Duty Drawback, Denial Party Lists, Maintain Company Export Control
List, Maintain Export/Import Records
* Oversees compliance activities at all BU facilities (domestic and abroad) including

- Audits to assess the export/import compliance of company and supporting
operating entities

- Investigations regarding possible violations and recommendations for
voluntary disclosures

- Management of classification determination of products.

- Implementation of corrective actions.

* Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk through periodic reviews and/or other risk evaluation
techniques to monitor compliance; identify problem areas; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues in coordination
with local leadership, institute standard desk procedures, and provide guidance on how to avoid similar situations in the future
* Provide BU guidance for Export License or Agreement applications. Interface with BU International Trade Management and
support license applications. May interact with US government agencies.
* Provide strategic guidance and facilitate coordination across BU s.
* Provide guidance and coordination between value streams and respective empowered officials (Compliance Official) to
ensure responsive, timely and compliant export activities.
* Routinely coordinate and work closely with businesses to gain an understanding of export needs and requirements.
* Establish and effectively utilize metrics todrive improvement. Reports metrics as needed to management.

Perform these and any other activities which may be assigned or which may occur in the normal course of work.

Physical Demands of the Global Trade Compliance Manager Job

While performing the responsibilities of the Human Resources Representative's job,
the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to
sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys
on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with
arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision
abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment for the Global Trade Compliance Manager Job

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to
moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment
is usually quiet to moderate.

Required Skills

Global Trade Compliance Manager Experience Requirements

* Must possess extensive knowledge of international trade compliance, and the regulatory process and procedures that
relate to it.
* Must be able to project authority necessary to achieve compliance
* Ability to prioritize in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment; must be able to quickly synthesize technical and
program information and apply regulatory requirements.
* Ability to effectively interact with multiple levels of personnel including senior management and government agencies.
* Strong written and oral communications skills.
* Strong computer skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team matrix environment.
* Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
* MUST be a US Citizen.
* 25% business travel required (International travel included)

Required Experience

Education and Experience

* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
* A minimum of 7+ years experience working with International Trade.
* Comprehensive working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, US Customs, C-TPAT, NAFTA, ECCN, HTS,
Foreign Trade Zones, other laws and regulations governing international trade.
* Understanding and awareness of foreign laws and regulations.
* International Business Development experience desired.
