Job Description:
As a member of the Total Rewards Team, the HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting HR applications, processes and projects. The HRIS Analyst interacts with HR, Payroll and other departments to understand current and future demands and translates those into technical requirements so the HR software products and technology fulfill those needs. This role is also responsible for training practices to ensure the HRIS systems are maintained and accurate.
Responsibilities:
*
Load, manipulate, audit, and report on data in C&S HR systems, and make complex mass changes, conversions or other direct data updates to HR data
*
Establish and monitor processes to assess the quality of HR data and monitor the use of HR data throughout the organization
*
Act as an escalation point for end-users who are experiencing difficulties in using these systems
*
Research and identify the root causes for problems and own their resolution
*
Ability to lead system testing as well as write and execute test scripts
*
Maintains data in tables, ability to translate and map data across systems and review output for accuracy
*
Ability to alter query variables in order to generate more complex or ad-hoc reports
*
Ensures accurate employee master data management
*
Participates in the development, implementation and system level administration or HR web-based applications
*
Assist start-up/acquisition/closure team with integration of data systems for seamless and efficient outcomes
*
Provide frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work that is in progress
*
Perform functional consulting with HR and other stakeholders
*
Ensure documentation is current on all new and existing HR applications and processes
*
Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications
*
Propose, document and implement new or revised processes to improve data integrity and promote the consistent use of HR data
*
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
*
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or related field preferred
*
Experience with multiple HR systems, including talent management, applicant tracking and other applications
*
Experience with HRIS systems such as Lawson and /or Oracle applications
*
Knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources and payroll functions
*
Familiar with a wide variety of HR concepts, practices and procedures
*
Knowledge of HR terms and data management issues and familiarity with HR procedures/policies
*
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
