Job Description: Mechanical Work Planner

Job Description:

Plan Mechanical work packages using NAMS
Develop detailed Mechanical maintenance work packages for the nuclear facility.
Formulate detailed work instructions.
Identify relevant hazards, incorporate appropriate measures to address identified hazards and incorporate/obtain all required permits, lockout/tag outs and reviews/approvals.
Determine specifications and material requirements then initiate procurement requests or purchase orders as required for materials, supplies, tools, parts and/or equipment.
Participate in work control meetings, job walk downs, pre/post job briefings, field progress monitoring, logistical support, and/or package closure.

Job Requirements:

Basic:

NAMS
5+ years work planning experience under work control programs at nuclear facilities.
Ability to build a work schedule related to work packages.
Demonstrated experience planning work involving significant radiological, electrical and/or chemical hazards.
