JR. MICROWAVE TEST TECHNICAN
The JR. Microwave Test Technician is responsible for the testing, tuning and troubleshooting of complex, multi-function, RF/microwave microelectronic assemblies in a secured clean room environment. Close interaction with both Design Engineering and Manufacturing is required. This position is considered entry level with training and ability to advance to higher independent levels.
POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Tune production assemblies
* Ability to set up test equipment for testing production assemblies
* Must be able to work from schematics, work instructions and alignment procedures
* Record test data in automated Excel spreadsheets
* Report assembly discrepancies to Assembly Supervisor
* Ability to troubleshoot both DC and RF circuits
* Assist engineering on lab projects
* Must perform other duties and responsibilities as required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Knowledge of basic RF electronics
* Familiar with transmission line theory, AC/DC circuits
* Computer literate
* Good manual dexterity while working under a microscope
* Possess energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude
* Ability to read schematic diagrams
* Min. Associates degree from a technical school or 2 year on the job training
* Requires good oral and written communication skills
* U.S. Citizenship
