Jobing Description
Reporting to the Leadership team of the Dartmouth Centers for Health and Aging, provides administrative and research support on a variety of projects related to the NNE Geriatric Education Center and Center for Aging Research. Support includes registering participants and answering inquiries regarding various programs of the Centers, assisting with the design and creation of evaluation forms, and data entry, processing and management.
Skills & Knowledge: Must be highly organized, able to carry out tasks independently with minimal direction.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.
Meticulous attention to detail and skill in applying research techniques, methods and procedures.
Expertise in documentation of study or project protocols and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive or personal information.
Knowledge of a diverse range of software applications including
statistical analysis, data management and word processing.
Excellent verbal and written and communication skills.
Ability to perform necessary administrative tasks to ensure the
day to day operation of the research group.
Judgment and ability to work independently.
Minimum Experience: Two years of experience in healthcare, social service, and/or field research.
Prior experience with research preferred.
Previous project-related work involving complex scheduling and communications is preferred.
Minimum Education: Associate degree or the equivalent
combination of education and experience.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
