Job: Project Engineer III

Jobing Description

* Plans and coordinates activities of technical projects for selected disciplines to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and budget.
* Reviews project plan to ascertain schedule, cost, equipment, and staffing requirements.
* Periodically reviews status of project and makes adjustments as necessary.
* Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
* May coordinate project activities with other departments or customers.

Qualifications

* BS in Mechanical engineering or equivalent technical discipline with 5-8 years experience.
* Senior level position requires complete understanding and application of principles, practices, concepts and standards.
* Ability to work on the floor and develop engineering expertise required to improve the production processes.
* Experience in performing technical studies, tests, and / or experimental investigations and writing reports.
* Experience with IQ,OQ and PQ processes
* Works comfortably in the production environment and has hands-on approach to problem solving.
* Perform calculations consistent with established standards, drawings and specifications.
* Experience with 3D design software. Autodesk Inventor preferred.
* Lean six sigma green belt or Black belt
* Ability to perform DOE modeling projects
* Strong project management skills
* Experience trouble shooting and/or developing high speed automation
* Experience in an FDA regulated environment a plus
