Jobing Description

At the direction of the Radiology Systems Manager, perform a variety of computer support functions, including investigating operational problems and routine maintenance of RIS/PACS and departmental personal computers. Work closely with departmental personnel and Information Technology to provide technical assistance in the areas of software and hardware maintenance.

Assist with basic day-to-day departmental Radiology-Information Systems (RIS) computer operations, digital dictation system and the image management system. (PACS) Maintain and/or resolve problems and routine services. Assist in RIS database building, training, and troubleshooting as appropriate.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree or four years of combined computer database and Radiology setting experience, or the equivalent in education and experience required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
