Experience Required

? Five years of experience in Lean and/or continuous improvement. We seek a change agent that has led a successful Lean transition from a leadership position. He/she will understand how to transition an operation from traditional methodologies to employ the Toyota Production System philosophy through fact-based decisions in which impact to the bottom line can be measured.

? Must be able to demonstrate a history of sustained results (i.e., implementation has lasted at a site or in a business).

? Understanding and implementation experience in the following tools is required: 5S, Visual workplace, kaizen, SMED, material flow, level loading, single-piece flow, heijunka, TPM, etc. and the ability to apply to a field based, service environment.

? The individual must be a credible teacher.

? He/she must be capable of influencing decisions at regional/branch and field levels of the organization and have a team approach to leadership.

? An affinity for the outdoors and field services.

? Ability to manage numerous time-sensitive matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

? Bachelor?s degree in Business or related discipline or an equivalent of training and experience.

? Passion and experience in productivity, horticulture, and landscape operations strongly preferred.

? Position requires significant travel throughout the Central US and/or South East regions.

Experience Preferred:

? Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
