Jobing Description
This position exists to manage a complex multiple-component geriatric education center project, ensuring effective and accurate data collection and analysis, collaborative/contractual relationships and staff supervision.
Skills & Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team member.
Strong ability to organize, take initiative and operate independently with minimal direction.
Strong resource information skills with library and Internet search engines.
Familiarity and experience with the requirements of data management required.
Ability to contribute to report, presentations and technical paper writing.
Mastery of word processing, spreadsheet software (MS Excel, Word), and Powerpoint.
Ability to conduct data analyses using SPSS, Access or database/statistical package.
Minimum Experience: Four to six years of experience in health care, social services, and/or field research.
Prior experience with research, practice management.
Previous project-related work involving complex scheduling and communications is preferred.
Minimum Education: Masters Degree in a health related field, such as public health, clinical evaluative science, medical informatics, human services, or other fields related to health; or the equivalent in education or experience.
