We are currently seeking a Scheduler in our Nuclear Component Manufacturing group within our Nuclear Power Plants Business Unit. Based out of Newington, NH, the Nuclear Component Manufacturing plant manufactures specialty equipment for new nuclear power plants and major replacement projects.
In this position, a Scheduler can expect to perform the following duties:
Monitors schedule performance to assist in assessing data for accuracy.
Attends planning meetings as the Scheduling representative.
Performs daily production status checks and updates the schedule as required.
Maintain schedule over lifespan of the project, assuring schedule is realistic and understood.
Level load assigned machines ; identifies collisions and any negative impact to the schedule, develops a solution for each using available resources.
Resource loads schedules in accordance with the availability provided by the work groups.
Sequences work activities and makes logic links.
Confirms validity of manpower estimates and durations. Specific Desired Skills A successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or other related field.
Planning and scheduling practices in a manufacturing environment.
Experienced with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software, highly desirable.
SAP experience, desirable.
Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers.
Strong communication and people skills.
At least 4 years of related work experience.
