Description: We are seeking a software engineer who has experience developing SOA applications in a Microsoft context. Working as a member of the re-platforming team, this individual is expected to assist with transition of the application from legacy VB6 technology to the latest Microsoft technology using .NET/Silverlight/Windows 8 JavaScript/Prism. This position will entail working within a sprint team in Nashua, NH; as well as collaborating with teams in India, and Eastern Europe. Successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively within an Agile team construct in a quality and delivery oriented environment.
Job Requirements: Responsibilities:
Perform coding, unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits with high quality deliverables
Perform programming activities on application software
Perform implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems
Participate in design meetings
Prepare technical documentation as required
Perform bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products
Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to problems
Implement software or system changes
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Experience/Skill set:
Experience building .NET applications
Exposure to .NET technologies like C#, Silverlight, Windows8 JavaScript/HTML5, WCF technologies, Prism , Unity
Exposure to Microsoft technologies like VB6, COM/DCOM
Experience of working with COM+ Application server
Experience in coding for optimal application performance
Exposure to SQL Server 2008
Good Team player who is able to work with both internal and external stakeholders across locations and geographies
A career oriented individual who wants to take the next step
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong oral & written communication skills
Experience working in the Agile model

A Big Plus:
Strong background in the Healthcare domain
Experience working on a Practice Management product
