ADP automates the calculation of Sales, Use, VAT, and other transactional taxes for companies around the world. Our clients range from the Fortune 100 to small and midsize companies. We have the tax knowledge and the software expertise that is needed in today's fast moving marketplace. The Tax Research department is responsible for monitoring legislative and regulatory developments in the field of transaction taxes both in the United States and internationally.

RESPONSIBILITIES
for this role include:

Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in the field of transaction tax worldwide, with special emphasis on how such changes may impact ADP Taxware s technology offerings

Research and analyze client questions regarding the taxability of specific transactions under applicable state or national law.

Give presentations on a variety of transaction tax-related topics both to internal personnel and outside groups.

Work with our technology teams to accurately implement any relevant tax law changes into our software.

Qualifications Required
(Experience, Skills, Academic):

3+ years of legal or tax experience

1-3 years of experience in transaction tax (sales/use, VAT) preferred.

Excellent research, analysis and writing skills are a must.

The ideal candidate would have a JD and be admitted to the bar in at least one state (equivalent international designations to a JD degree are acceptable). However, a CPA with transaction tax background would also be acceptable in certain circumstances.

Ideally be fluent in a second language (German, Dutch, Mandarin Chinese preferred)
